Employee Spotlight: Kevin

A Thoughtful Problem Solver with a Passion for Building and Exploration

Kevin has been with WorkCentive for four years, joining after a long career in professional services consulting. Having worked across both large organizations and smaller teams, he was ready for a change and drawn to the opportunity to wear more hats and make a more direct impact. After connecting with Noah, he made the move, bringing with him experience working with major insurance carriers like Intact, Travelers, and Belair-direct.

One of Kevin’s favorite projects was his first major engagement with a global manufacturing client. What stood out most was the collaboration. With a small, highly knowledgeable client team, decisions were clear, communication was strong, and progress moved quickly. They came prepared with clean, structured data and a deep understanding of their compensation plans, which made a big difference. From building out plan logic to testing scenarios like quota changes and prorations, the project ran smoothly because of that shared clarity and responsiveness. For Kevin, it reinforced how impactful strong partnership and preparation can be on a project’s success.

Earlier in his career, Kevin spent over a decade at a technology company focused on visualizing promotional products in 3D-cutting-edge work at the time. During that experience, he built tools to track project timelines and streamline how product data and images were managed. It was an early example of his ability to combine analytical thinking with practical solutions, a skillset he continues to apply today.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys traveling with his family and creating memorable experiences together. One standout trip was visiting Postojna Cave in Slovenia, where they took a train deep into a vast cave system filled with unique formations. For Kevin, the highlight wasn’t just the destination, but seeing it through his kids’ eyes for the first time.

He also has a creative side that contrasts with his naturally quiet personality. Kevin loves music-whether it’s playing guitar, drumming, or singing karaoke. In fact, he once placed third in a karaoke competition in Mississauga, finishing as the top male performer. In high school, he even performed in a band at Ontario Place, complete with a trombone solo.

Whether he’s solving complex problems, collaborating with clients, or exploring new places with his family, Kevin brings a steady, thoughtful approach to everything he does.
